Attach straps to dress approximatly 1 stich in from the edge of the flowers closest to edge when dress is laying flat.  There should be 4 flowers on front and 4 on back, evenly spaced.

Cut 5 ½ inches of elastic cord.  Thread elastic cord through straps on wrong side, 1 row in from the non edged side.  Anchor at front and back.  You can make the elastic longer or shorter depending on how you want the sleeves to look.  Or omit it all together for a flat strap.  If you choose that style, I would suggest starting with a ch 26 to make the strap a bit shorter.

Picot edging.

On lower edge of skirt, working in free loops from beginning chain, attach color B with ss.  Ch3, ss in same stitch, ss 3 stitches, *(ss, ch3, ss) in next stitch, ss 3 stitches Repeat from * around.

  1. Hi, I really love this pattern and wonder if you happen to have a version for 3-4 years old or any suggestions that I could do for it. Thank you in advance.
